Access to the Library

We are pleased to inform you that our Multimedia Library opens to the public for our lending and consulting services.
Lending services are available for duplicate works only and can be borrowed following the same rules as per the consulting services.
The access is allowed prior appointment only: Monday to Friday, from 11:00 am to 04:30 pm
All requests should be submitted by email to the following address: bibliomediateca@santacecilia.it
Dissimilar applications and requests will not be considered.
In order to consider the request, all users should include in their email:
- Identifying details of the desired work/s (maximum of three works)
- Member Card number
We kindly inform that it is mandatory to wait for the confirmation of the appointment. Without the mentioned authorization email, the access will not be permitted.
We would also like to remind our Users that due to Covid-19 restrictions, the number of allowed people in our premises is limited, and all Users will be requested to show a valid identity document.
All requested works will be available for the collection at the distribution desk on the day of the appointment confirmation received by email.
Access Rules and restrictions:
In our premises it is not allowed to:
- Add other requests once at our offices. Any new request must be submitted by email, after which a new appointment will be issued
- Request to hold the consulted work "on deposit", as it will be sealed and put in quarantine for 72 hours
At the entrance all Users will be subject to the detection of temperature; if the detected temperature is above 37.5' C, the access to the premises will not be permitted.
For all Users it is mandatory:
- To wear a personal face mask for the entire duration of the staying
- The reservation of the works has previously been submitted through email and a confirmation email of the availability of the works has been issued from our Staff
- No food is allowed inside the premises
All Users are kindly requested to maintain the Security Social Distances and to follow all directions given by our Staff.
