On Thursday, April 8, at the headquarters of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia at the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome, the Paolo Ketoff Studio was inaugurated, a research studio for electronic music and new technologies, a permanent center for musical training, production and research that is the first of its kind among the Lyric-Symphonic Foundations. The Academy is the first institution, therefore, to open up to electronic music through a research laboratory accessible to students, composers, musicians and researchers - and sets its sights on the music of the future with an expanded vision to the boundless potential that electronics can offer new composers and also to the repertoire of symphonic and chamber music. Conceived as an open creative laboratory, the Ketoff Studio will soon be connected to international realities: at the disposal of composers, musicians and students will be the most advanced means and the most modern professional media that music production uses today, such as artificial intelligence and acoustic analysis systems for orchestral instruments.
