  • The JuniOrchestra of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia is the first youth orchestra created by an Italian musical foundation. It was born in 2006 thanks to Bruno Cagli. Today it counts 184 players, divided into two age-groups. The children get to know the great symphonic repertoire and play music which spans from the Renaissance to modern times, ranging from Rossini to Mozart and Vivaldi, from Ciajkovski to Bartok, Puccini, Beethoven and many others, all in their original versions. Additionally the young musicians perform challenging chamber repertoire, followed by teachers of great experience amongst which are some of Santa Cecilia's orchestra players.
