The Accademia publications are intended both to spread musical culture throughout its wide public and to intensify scientific research conducted in the fields of music and musicology, especially within its own collections.

The Accademia begun its music editorial production since 1970, but the publishing activity begun to be more stable and regular from 1991, with the birth of the series "L'arte armonica" (Harmonious Art) which have continued to the present.
The series is now articulated in five subseries and it counts thirty titles containing facsimiles, sources, reference works, essays, iconography.

At the same time the Accademia has also an audio-video production covering both the heritage preserved in its Archives - from the ethnomusicological to the live Orchestra recordings - and more larger educational projects.

In addition to specialized volumes, the Accademia publishes also more divulgative books, CDs and DVDs, to bring music to different audiences, including two series specifically designed for children and young people.
