The catalogue is linked directly to the portal for the Museum of Musical Instruments (MUSA) and provides information on all the pieces in the collection, both those on display and those kept in storage.The instruments are classified according to the Hornbostel-Sachs system: Aerophones, Chordophones, Idiophones, Membranophones and Electrophones. There are also three additional categories: Accessories and Instrument Parts, Objects and Relics and Keyboard Instruments.
Each instrument is presented by an introductory page with a photograph, which indicates how to access other documentation about it, such as: photographs, technical drawings, restoration reports, scientific studies and archival documents and other, more detailed information.
